When people think of Hong Kong’s history and heritage, common imagery often comes to mind — the iconic skyline, traditional junk boats, and the fusion of East and West. While these visuals reflect how outsiders may see Hong Kong, they don’t fully capture the heart and soul of our home.
For this Hong Kong Limited Edition, we drew inspiration from one of the city’s nostalgic elements — the Vintage Begonia glass (海棠玻璃), once a familiar sight in old Hong Kong. Known for its delicate craftsmanship and timeless beauty, this glass design reflects the subtle elegance of a bygone era. We’ve reimagined this aesthetic on the watch dial, allowing light and shadow to dance across its surface, much like the way it once adorned countless homes across the city.
H1 Exclusive Edition stay in the series of good, celebrating one of the city's most famous views. The striking Purple Mother of Pearl dial captures the magic of evening time, When the sun sets, the Hong Kong skyline reflects a deep, shifting purple colour onto the fading sky. This signature dusk scene is perhaps the most iconic modern image of the city.
